This elegant large vintage compote has a generous bowl portion which is actually a slight oval shape. The raised turquoise scrolls are stunning against the white background. There are two thick handles, and it is made of a ceramic material. It looks to be hand painted and has a gold sticker on the bottom that reads ...Ardco Fine Quality Dallas Made In Japan. I did not find any chips, cracks, or repairs. Much too large to use as a soap dish, you could use it for a smaller plant, fruit, or simply as a gorgeous display piece. Not too shabby, very chic!
